چکیده
With the technological advances in wearable and portable electronic devices, demands for associated technologies including flexible energy storage devices increase. Among many types of supercapacitors (FSCs) are highly attractive comparison with others as they exhibit high power density, mechanical stability. In particular, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) being widely used electrode materials FSCs, owing to their strength outstanding electrical performance. Herein, we classified CNT-based FSCs according structural CNTs incorporated. The unique structures properties three (single-walled (SWCNT), double-walled (DWCNT), multi-walled (MWCNT)) compared mechanisms discussed. Finally, a summary overall electrochemical current development reported FSC electrodes based on SWCNT, DWCNT, MWCNT presented thoroughly.

Thin film supercapacitors were fabricated using printable materials to make flexible devices on plastic. The active electrodes were made from sprayed networks of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) serving as both electrodes and charge collectors. Using a printable aqueous gel electrolyte as well as an organic liquid electrolyte, the performances of the devices show very high energy and pow...

We prepare thin single-walled carbon nanotube networks on a transparent and flexible substrate with different densities, using a very simple spray method. We measure the electric impedance at different frequencies Z(f) in the frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 GHz using two different methods: a two-probe method in the range up to 110 MHz and a coaxial (Corbino) method in the range of 10 MHz to 20 G...

Capture of bacteria with flexible carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was done in vitro. Bundles of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) or multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was mixed with Streptococcus mutans. Precipitation assays and colony-forming unit formation assays showed free S. mutans in the solution was significantly decreased by the addition of the CNTs. Observation of the precipitate by...
متن کاملFlexible vapour sensors using single walled carbon nanotubes
Thin, strongly adhering films of single-walled carbon nanotube bundles (SWNT) on flexible substrates such as poly(ethyleneterephthalate) (PET) were used for vapour sensing (hexane, toluene, acetone, chloroform, acetonitrile, methanol, water, etc.). These sensors are extremely easy to fabricate using the line patterning method. For example, ‘4-probe’ sensor patterns are drawn on a computer and t...
